Job Context:
∎ The Fleet Assistant will work under the supervision of the Program Support Logistic Officer (Tech). (S)He will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the vehicle appointed for COVID-19 isolation center. (S)He will manage the transport scheduling and communication flow in an effective and compliant manner according to laid out IRC Standard Operating Procedures.

∎ Line Manager: Program Support Logistic Officer (Tech)
∎ Contract Length: 6 Months
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all IRC vehicles are running as per transport schedule.
∎ Ensure all vehicles disinfect after each travel.
∎ Ensure supply of appropriate PPE for driver and disinfect solution for the vehicles.
∎ Verify and monitor of vehicle Log Book, Fuel consumption and Vehicle Cleanliness.
∎ Ensure that all vehicles are equipped with necessary documents (Reg./Fitness/Tax Token/Insurance) and equipment’s (First Aid Box/ Fire Extinguisher/Tools etc.).
∎ Manage the drivers to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with IRC requirements.
∎ Assist to enter of vehicle movement data to the prescribed monitoring sheet.
∎ Monitor driver’s performance including behaviors and reports to Program Support Officer (Tech) for necessary action.
∎ Conduct duties in accordance with the IRC Supply Chain Code of Conduct.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of working with UN or Non-Governmental Organizations.
∎ Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in Fleet Management.
∎ Understanding of the transport management documentation and systems.
∎ Excellent skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
∎ Ability to work harmoniously with other staff members in cross cultural contexts.
∎ Excellent verbal communication and report-writing skills with the ability to convey information effectively in English.
∎ Customer & client centered and service oriented attitude and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to manage situations diplomatically and to effective resolution.
∎ Proven experience in supervising staff.
∎ Experience in training and capacity-building of staff.
∎ Dedications to humanitarian principles and values.
∎ Dedications to and understanding of IRC’s aims, values and principles.
∎ Willing to work in COVID-19 isolation center
∎ Knowledge of local language
∎ Candidate who can join immediately will get preference
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
