Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A reputed spinning concern export-oriented group of companies, looking for a professional as follows:
∎ Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management and control costs while meeting production demands.
∎ Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
∎ Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements using inventory management software.
∎ Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
∎ Coordinate with purchasing and production departments to forecast material requirements and plan procurement activities.
∎ Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate terms and agreements to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
∎ Implement measures to minimize stock obsolescence, damage, and shrinkage.
∎ Lead and mentor a team of storekeepers to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
