Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Store in charge organizes and monitors the storage, delivery, and dispatch of a wide range of goods
∎ He takes proper preparation to support the sales team so that daily sales planning and daily MRP are achieved efficiently
∎ He keeps stock control systems up to date and maintains automated/manual storage and retrieval systems
∎ Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and participates in the meetings of the planning and material control department
∎ Briefs his team leaders daily and creates motivation and team spirit within the workforce to ensure the effectiveness of his area
∎ Disposal of idle, excess, and obsolete stock after periodic review from senior management
∎ Proposes new changes in WMS (Warehouse Management System) to make his area more effective
∎ Maintains the standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
