Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supply Chain Management: Lead the purchase/procurement team and supply chain management of the site. Apply SCM strategies and goals.
∎ Resource Management: This involves managing human resources, equipment, and materials effectively to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
∎ Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all safety regulations and standards are met on the construction site to prevent accidents and injuries.
∎ Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure they meet the standards and specifications set forth in the project plans.
∎ Budget Management: Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budgetary constraints.
∎ Problem-Solving: Being proactive in identifying and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, such as local disturbance, delays, budget overruns, or design changes.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, purchase reports, inventory reports, site photos, and any changes to the original plans.
∎ Environmental Compliance: Ensuring that the construction site complies with environmental regulations and mitigating any potential environmental impacts of the project.
∎ Team Leadership: Leading and motivating the purchase/store/procurement team to work efficiently and collaboratively towards the successful completion of the project.
∎ Site Inspections: Conducting regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that work is being carried out according to the plans and specifications and to address any safety or quality issues.
∎ Any other task assigned by the company management.
