Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ At least 10 years, among which 3 years in managerial position in Local Procurement.
∎ Sound track record in business industries is a must, preferably in commodity industries;
∎ Capable in planning, organizing, prioritizing and coordinating work in a fast changing environment;
∎ Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills;
∎ Strong analytical and communication ability;
∎ Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data;
∎ Good knowledge in Computer specially in MS Office, Internet etc;
∎ Good command in Bengali and English;
∎ Able to work independently and under pressure;
∎ Should be self-driven, result oriented, hard working;High level of professional integrity.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure on-time procurement as per requirement;
∎ Ensure PR to PO conversion on time;
∎ Locate/ Sourcing vendors of Raw and Packing material and interview them to determine the strength of the suppliers;
∎ Visit suppliers’ factory to know the production capacity;
∎ Mapping vendors into High, Medium and Low risk category to prioritize for sourcing;
∎ Update vendor database on regular basis Provide support and advice to management on procurement matters;
∎ Finalize negotiation, prepare comparative statement for all items and arrange approval from management to procure on time;
∎ Place purchase orders ensuring flow of inventory to ensure optimum stock levels and meets turnover goals.
