Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform all local procurement processes for LP Gas industries i.e., strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier selection, supplier segmentation in compliance with procurement policy & sole responsibility for Procuring Mechanical, Spare parts, Paints, Hardware Items, Lube Oil, Printing & Packaging, and all heavy industry project-based items etc.
∎ The incumbent must arrange, procure, and manage all facets of purchasing and delivery operations for commodity items, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Coordinates and manages the commodity pipelines to ensure that there are no interruptions in stock.
∎ Collaborate with plants, commercial and other departments to ensure smooth purchase.
∎ Collect quotations from the supplier & CS preparation as well as collect approval.
∎ Handle MRR and prepare bills as well as submission to the accounts dept. for vendor payment.
∎ Check inventory on software & physical inventory, supplier capability of goods with the audit team.
∎ Frequent visit local market & vendor’s factory to observe the product quality, availability and production process of electrical/mechanical spare items.
∎ Establish, negotiate and develop contract terms and conditions maintaining relationships with suppliers for implementing contract.
∎ Any other assignment by the management/Line manager.
