Job Context:
∎ The Information Officer will work closely with the Clinical Supervisor to maintain all information hub’s operation in specifically- deployment, monitoring data, prepare plan, check and inform about the project progress against target. S/he will also be liaising with partner agencies and individual teams within (org.) to collect and collate activities and monitoring data. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing objectively set of program action plan as per guide from senior management for effective decision making. The position is based in Ukhiya field office with frequent visits to Rohingya camps and (adjacent host community areas within) Cox’s Bazar as necessary.
∎ Close guidance and support will be provided by the Manager/SPO/(any)-CwC.
∎ In order to accomplish the above, s/he will need to be proactive, quick learner and form and maintain a thorough understanding of (org)’s history, values, culture, policies and long-term programming strategies.
∎ Job Location: Camp 6
∎ Contract Length: 31st August,2023 (with possible extension depend on funding availability)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Patient referral to different facilities based on need.
∎ Maintain professional collaboration and communication with respective health facility before referral any patient.
∎ Accompany the critical patient to the referred facility.
∎ Help register in documentation of patients and ensure required referral documents (doctor referral, CIC approval) are available with patient during referral.
∎ Help in awareness building activities.
∎ Keep regular communication with the patients and ensure availability in term of emergency in camp.
∎ Consistently and dedicatedly monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Supervisor/IRC management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/improve the security environment.
∎ Ensure patient confidentiality is respected, and that all referrals are conducted in a dignified and respectful manner.
∎ Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures during referral.
∎ Ensure emergency referral services are implemented in conformity with health sector guidelines and protocols.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.
