Business Administration (MBA) Health Administration, or a related discipline with excellent academic back ground from a recognized university.
Teaching credentials or educational administration certifications will be given preference.
Candidates with a PhD especially in education field or equivalent higher qualification may receive preference.

Membership in relevant professional bodies would be an added advantage.
Minimum 20 years of progressively responsible professional experience, including.
At least 10 years in senior management or leadership positions.
Age limit may be relaxed in respect of experienced and qualified candidates.
Experience in managing multiple institutions, programs, or business units.
Experience in overseeing educational institutions, hospitals, social enterprises, or development programs.
Experience working with Boards of Trustees, Executive Committees, and senior leadership teams.
Proven experience in strategic planning, policy development, and institutional governance.
Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, educational institutions, healthcare institutions, social enterprises, or corporate organizations.
Demonstrated experience in budget preparation, financial oversight, and resource mobilization.
Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities, governing boards, donors, and external stakeholders.
Strong supervisory, leadership and team management skills.
Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making ability.
Sound knowledge of organizational governance and compliance.

Job Context:
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a National NGO with Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. It works for social and spiritual development of the human community. Founded by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.), an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi. The founding motto of DAM is ‘Divine and Humanitarian Service’, over last 65 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people’s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials. DAM’s current diversified works encompass multidimensional field programs and self-governing institutions in education, health and economic development sectors in Bangladesh. DAM is now looking for a competent, self-motivated and high experienced Bangladeshi professionals as Executive Director (Institutions) for immediate appointment.
Reportable to: Vice President (Institutions), DAM
Appointment Status: Full time contractual service. The contract will be for 1(one)year. The contract may be renewed, if considered necessary by DAM
Overall Functions:
To provide overarching vision, academic/administrative leadership, and strategic direction to the institutions such as educational, TVET, health, economic development, social development institutions and other institutional entities under the Mission.
Key Functions:
Strategic Leadership and Planning:
Collaborate with executive leadership to establish long-term vision, mission, and strategic goals of the institutions.
Aligning institutional activities with local policies, educational standards, and broader board objectives.
Recruit, train, and evaluate department head/managers and staff, providing constructive feedback and fostering a high-performing workplace.
Driving continual improvement and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion of the institutions.
Academic and Operational Management:
Manage day-to-day operational functions of educational and other institutions.
Design, evaluate, and integrate curricula to meet educational standards and improve student learning outcomes.
Coordinate and participate in management committee meetings, ensuring institutional compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Ensure teaching standards and delivery methods of the educational institutions.
Supervise and monitor the daily running of business operations to ensure smooth progress and that milestones are met.
Providing academic leadership by monitoring and improving curriculum delivery, teaching quality, and student learning outcomes.
Overseeing research development and ensuring that institutional programs meet accreditation and licensing standards.
Managing general administration, including maintaining discipline, ensuring a positive campus climate, and enforcing facility rules of the institutions.
Human Resource and Talent Management
Overseeing the recruitment, on boarding, and retention of qualified faculty and staff.
Supporting staff development, managing performance appraisals, and facilitating professional training opportunities.
Coordinate and plan internal academic training programs and faculty professional development initiatives
Fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment and managing staff grievances.
Financial and Resource Oversight
Developing and managing the annual institutional budget, allocating funds effectively across the institutions.
Manage operational budgets, review financial information, and reallocate resources to promote profitability and reduce costs of the institutions.
Ensuring proper resource utilization, procurement, and adherence to internal and external auditing protocols
Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance
Acting as the primary spokesperson and representative of the institutions to the board, government bodies, media, and the public.
Ensuring strict compliance with all statutory regulations, legal obligations, and corporate governance codes of the institutions.
