Master’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Science, Business Administration, Management, or a relevant discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in NGO/development programs, preferably in field operations and multi-location project management.
Experience in managing large field teams and geographically dispersed programs.
Experience in health, primary healthcare, eye health, community-based programs, or other development interventions will be an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, team management, stakeholder coordination, and donor-funded projects.

The role will provide strategic and operational oversight for the field implementation of SAJIDA Foundation’s Reading Glasses for Improved Livelihoods (RGIL), SAJIDA Primary Healthcare Center and other assigned development projects. The position will ensure effective planning, quality implementation, team performance, resource utilization, compliance, and achievement of project objectives.
A) Field Operations & Program Management
Lead and oversee field operations of SAJIDA Primary Healthcare Center, RGIL and other assigned projects.
Develop and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly operational plans aligned with project objectives and budgets.
Ensure timely and quality implementation of project activities in accordance with approved workplans, SOPs, donor requirements, and organizational policies.
Review field performance, identify operational challenges and risks, and ensure timely corrective actions.
Support development and updating of SOPs, guidelines, checklists, and field implementation tools.
B) Program Quality & Service Delivery
Ensure quality implementation of community-based health, primary healthcare, eye-care, and other development interventions.
Oversee operational readiness and service delivery of the SAJIDA Primary Healthcare Center, including staffing, supplies, outreach, community engagement, and referral systems.
Oversee RGIL field activities including eye screening, presbyopia identification, reading-glass distribution/sales, demand generation, and referral.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor service quality, staff performance, beneficiary engagement, documentation, and compliance.
Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and learning across projects.
C) Team Leadership & Capacity Building
Provide functional supervision and guidance to Zonal Managers, Program Officers, healthcare/service delivery teams, and other field personnel.
Monitor staff performance and ensure achievement of individual, team, and project targets.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and support for staff capacity development.
Coordinate with HR on recruitment, deployment, performance management, and staff development.
D) Monitoring, Reporting & Performance Management
Monitor project progress against approved targets, indicators, work plans, and budgets.
Review field reports and performance data and ensure timely management action.
Coordinate with MEAL to ensure data quality, verification, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reporting.
Support donor visits, reporting, monitoring visits, assessments, and audits.
E) Budget, Resource & Logistics Management
Support operational planning, budgeting, budget revision, and resource forecasting.
Monitor field-level expenditure and ensure efficient and accountable use of project resources.
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Administration to ensure timely availability of funds, medicines, reading glasses, equipment, and other supplies.
Ensure proper inventory, stock management, asset utilization, and documentation.
F) Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance
Maintain effective coordination with government authorities, local administration, NGOs, partners, community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with SAJIDA Foundation policies, SOPs, donor requirements, safeguarding standards, and applicable regulations.
Ensure appropriate documentation and escalation of complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.
G) Head Office Coordination
The position will work closely with Program, MEAL, Finance, HR, Procurement & Logistics, Administration/IT and Communications/Resource Mobilization teams to ensure effective and integrated project implementation.
