BRAC is in the process of implementing a 36 months project for "Unlocking Financial Solutions for Youth Enterprise Development"/ "Access to Capital and Entrepreneurial Skills for Success"
in collaboration with Silatech (صلتك).The proposed "ACCESS" project aims to tackle the issue of limited access to conventional financial resources for youth (aged 18-35) entrepreneurs in Bangladesh who aspire to develop or expand their income-generating ventures. In collaboration with Silatech, BRAC will extend loans to these young entrepreneurs to improve the economic well-being of both the youths and their households. Additionally, the project will provide financial literacy, entrepreneurship skills training, and mentorship support to young entrepreneurs to enhance their ventures' sustainability. The project is scheduled to conclude in September 2026.
Major Responsibilities
Guide and oversee market and community surveys for identifying and recruiting the right clients for entrepreneurship training programs.
Ensure client selection criteria, relevant standard operating procedures/toolkit, and program quality standards are strictly adhered to by the field/associate officers.
Supervise and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders for logistical planning, office and classroom setup, and procurement of training items.
Organize and facilitate project inception and training orientation programmes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training materials.
Ensure training content aligns with established standards and meets the needs of diverse clients.
Conduct and facilitate activity-based training in line with the modules and guidelines.
Develop the skills and knowledge of Associate Officers to enhance their ability to assist programme graduates in achieving 'loan readiness' which includes providing training sessions, sharing best practices, and equipping them with the necessary tools to guide and support graduates through the process of preparing for business/ microfinance loans.
Verify the accuracy of bill vouchers, keep track of project expenditures, and ensure relevant financial guidelines and policies are followed through.
Practice, promote, and apply the safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in all actions.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation.
Practice, promote, and endorse safeguarding policies among team members and ensure safeguarding standards are maintained in all activities.
Follow safeguarding reporting procedures in case of any reportable incident and encourage others to do the same.
