Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure HTH mother solution standard and Free Residual chlorine value standard in field level.
Discussing and answering any questions regarding the water quality test results.
Provide technical support to field-based sample collection & preserving data in assigned database.
Calibration of Equipment like HANNA Conductivity meter, PH meter, Spectrophotometer, DR300, DR900, DR2100, Turbidity meter etc.
Receiving, labeling and safely storing water samples to be tested and Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.
Conducting a range of tests to determine the composition, quantity, and quality Effluent test of fecal sludge, including tests for pH, DO, BOD, COD, TSS, and other parameters
Hands-on experience in water quality assessment through microbiological (E. coli, Total Coliform, Fecal Coliform), chemical (As, Fe, Mn, F⁻, Cl⁻, NO₃⁻, Pb, etc.), and physical testing (EC, TDS, turbidity, color, and odor).
Proficient in conducting coagulation/flocculation (Jar/Bucket) tests, preparing mother solutions, and ensuring effective water disinfection through inline chlorination.
Demonstrated experience in wastewater sample collection from fecal sludge treatment plants.
Adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure the safe handling of fecal sludge and other hazardous materials.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Communicating test results and other findings to laboratory managers, treatment plant operators, and other stakeholders.
