Job Context:
∎ The Case Management IMS officer will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of regular monitoring and evaluation activities for case management activities and ensuring quality information management, including case management databases and reporting. The responsibility ensures the safety, confidentiality, and dignity of the refugee and host community people. The Protection Manager will supervise the Case Management IMS officer.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Major Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure all information collected as part of case management responses and protection concerns for identifying protection needs, vulnerability and risks and the information are safely and accurately collected from filed and stored.
∎ To maintain the quality data and information from the officer protection and managing the caseload in the case management database systems.
∎ Data and Reporting:
∎ Responsible for identification and execution of strategies to improve data-collection methodology.
∎ Identify any new or potential risks to clients and staff due to data collection.
∎ File and store hard copy files in lockable file cabinets and input transfer information into the database.
∎ Conduct data-quality checks and regular data cleaning.
∎ Extract individual case information from the database for caseworkers to facilitate managing their caseload.
∎ Manage the development of protection case management databases.
∎ Analyze qualitative data collected from site visits, focus group discussions, key information visits and other qualitative methods; identify relevant trends and patterns.
∎ Provide input for weekly and staff activity reports.
∎ Monitoring Responsibilities :
∎ Ensure accuracy, completion/thoroughness, and confidentiality of case management data entry and data management.
∎ Keeping records of cases and compiling them into a weekly report for the supervisor.
∎ Coordination:
∎ Support timely information sharing regarding challenges and needs at the field level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ At least two years of experience in data management, analysis and reporting.
∎ Experience producing quantitative analysis and reports.
∎ Full professional competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
∎ Previous experience working with an NGO or INGO required, experience with protection programming preferred.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination, and safety of clients always.
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity, and flexibility.
∎ Demonstrated understanding of information management principles, tools, and systems, Previous experience in emergency preparedness and response preferred.
∎ Ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds and develop strategies to address barriers faced by individuals most at risk of discrimination.
∎ Ability to work well both within a team and independently, strong communication skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines.
∎ Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
∎ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
∎ Good English communications skills both verbal and written.
∎ People who have sound knowledge in Chittagonian dialect and culture will get preference
