Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support supervisor with core departmental budget preparation and mid-year revision process.
∎ Collect and analyse active grants information (budgets, expenditure statements, etc.) to prepare quarterly portfolio health reports.
∎ Work with GRP units and colleagues to forecast monthly expenditures.
∎ Prepare and analyse monthly detailed budget variance reports for management presentation.
∎ Identify the potential risk of over/under expenditure by assessing expenditure trends.
∎ Reconcile activity level expenditure by comparing the forecast with actuals.
∎ Work with the regional finance manager to check fund requests are submitted following the budget and cost allocation plan.
∎ Check that expenditure reports don’t have any arbitrary entry advance liquidation is done on time.
∎ Support the GRP Systems and Analysis Lead with annual internal audit facilitation.
∎ Provide accounting codes to the finance department based on expenditure nature and budget availability.
∎ Ensure compliance with BRAC financial, HR, and procurement policies.
∎ Identify and propose improvements, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel/google dashboards.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ As part of a sub-team within GRP Grant Management supporting wider GRP management and reporting efforts, this position aims to support effective and efficient financial management of the Global Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships (GRP) unit. Responsibilities will include budgeting, expenditure monitoring, management reporting for internal stakeholders and effective liaison with BRAC & BI finance team to ensure on-time finance data for reporting. Management reporting includes but is not limited to board dashboard and portfolio reporting. This position will also support regional office fund management, ensuring internal policies and controls are being followed and supporting annual internal audit facilitation.

∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
