Education:

HSC/Equivalent degree. A diploma in pharmacy will add value.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 1 year(s) experience of working as a Logistic and IPC assistant in a health facility. Working experience in NGOs and hard-to-reach areas will add value. 

Additional Requirements:

• Age 25 to 30 years.

• A friendly, caring and empathetic manner.

• Ability to act calmly and quickly in emergencies.

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work in tasteful condition.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unpacks and examines incoming goods to verify quality, quantity and condition of goods for conformance to specifications, including counting. 

• Weighing and/or sorting the incoming good. 

• Stores goods, supplies and equipment in appropriate storage containers according to size, shape and type following standard/guidelines. 

• Marks identifying codes, figures or letters on articles and attaches tags to articles for identification purpose. 

• Maintain and follow first expiry and first out (FEFO). 

• Maintain bin card in the store room. 

• Assisting medical officer in maintenance IPC measures in the health post.    

Activities:

• Issues supplies, materials and equipment to users in accordance with established procedures. 

• Maintains records and logs of items received, issued and shipped including description of articles, type and other identifying information in accordance with established procedures.       

• Takes physical inventory of supplies and equipment to determine actual amounts on hand, to review and/or reconcile stock records to detect spoilage, damage or variances in quantity. 

• Performs related duties such as loading and unloading items to and from trucks, maintaining general appearance of stockroom, weighing, materials and equipment to other locations using hand trucks. 

• Supervise cleaners in maintenance of cleanliness of the facility. 

• Support medical staff in sterilization of medical equipments, and disposal of waste. 

• Collecting requisition from respective departments and assisting medical officer, and field office staff in processing PR. 

• To do any assignment given by authority.
