Education:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.

• Valid BMDC Registration is mandatory.

• Experience in hospital and community healthcare services will be considered an advantage.

• Experience in conducting health camps and outreach healthcare services will receive preference.

• Age At most 40 years
• Only Male

• Must have practical knowledge and experience in conducting Ultrasonography (USG).

• Must be skilled in organizing and conducting regular health camps.

• Willingness to participate in satellite medical camps in different locations.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient-centered care.

National Development Programme (NDP) is a national level, non-government, non-profit development organization established in 1992, dedicated to improving livelihoods, promoting human rights, gender equality, sustainable development, and inclusive growth throughout Bangladesh. NDP implements wide-ranging programs in Education, Health, Agriculture, Housing, and Credit Support Programme in collaboration with partners including Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and various national & international development stakeholders.

Job Summary: National Development Programme (NDP) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Medical Officer under Nasima Alauddin Hospital. The incumbent will be responsible for providing quality outpatient and healthcare services at Nasima Alauddin Hospital. The incumbent will play a key role in conducting regular health camps, participating in satellite healthcare services, and supporting community-based healthcare initiatives. The position requires a committed physician who is willing to work both at the hospital and in outreach medical camps to ensure quality healthcare for underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to patients.

• Conduct regular health camps and community outreach medical services.

• Participate in satellite medical camps at different locations as assigned.

• Perform and interpret ultrasonography (USG) examinations where applicable.

• Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.

• Prescribe medicines and provide appropriate health education and counseling.

• Refer complicated cases to higher-level healthcare facilities when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with BMDC guidelines, hospital policies, and ethical medical practices.

• Participate in emergency medical services and perform at least seven (7) night duties per month.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the higher authority.

• Salary consolidated BDT 45,000–50,000 (Gross) per month, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Other admissible benefits according to NDP policies.

• Office time 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM

• One (1) weekly holiday

• Minimum seven (7) night duties per month.

• Workplace: Work at office (Nasima Alauddin Hospital) and field-based satellite health camps as required.
