Experience:
Diploma in Livestock from a recognized institution.
Additional training in dairy farm, beef cattle management, artificial insemination, or livestock production will be considered an advantage.
Experience in dairy and/or beef cattle farms will be given preference.
Good knowledge of livestock production and farm management practices.
Ability to supervise farm workers effectively.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and in rural farm environments.
Honest, hardworking, self-motivated, and responsible.

Job Context: NDP Agro Farm, a concern of National Development Programme (NDP), is looking for a qualified, energetic and committed professionals for the position of Manager (Livestock & Farm) to oversee livestock operations and ensure efficient farm management.
Key Responsibilities:
Farm Operations
Assist the Farm Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising daily farm operations.
Ensure proper feeding, watering, housing, and routine care of livestock.
Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of farm facilities.
Livestock Health Management
Observe livestock health conditions and promptly report any illness or abnormal behavior.
Assist in implementing vaccination, deworming, treatment, and disease prevention programs.
Support veterinarians during health check-ups and emergency treatments.
Feed and Nutrition
Ensure timely preparation and distribution of balanced feed.
Monitor feed quality, storage, and inventory to minimize wastage.
Maintain daily records of feed consumption.
Breeding and Production
Assist in artificial insemination (AI), heat detection, and breeding activities.
Monitor milk production, weight gain, and livestock performance.
Help maintain breeding and production records.
Biosecurity and Hygiene
Maintain biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
Ensure proper sanitation, waste disposal, and environmental hygiene throughout the farm.
Staff Supervision
Supervise farm workers and assign daily responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with farm operating procedures and workplace discipline.
Provide practical guidance and support to farm staff.
Inventory and Record Keeping
Maintain records of livestock, medicines, vaccines, feed, equipment, and farm supplies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Assist in maintaining digital and manual farm records.
Perform any other duties assigned by the higher authority.
Salary consolidated BDT 20,000-25,000 per month (Negotiable for highly qualified and experienced candidates.)
