Education:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Disaster Management, or a relevant field.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At most 45 years
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in MEAL, M&E, research, data management, or similar roles in development or humanitarian projects.

  • Experience in WFP-funded or donor-funded projects will be an added advantage.

  • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI (optional), and digital data tools

  • Advanced Data analysis and visualization skills

  • Expertise in SPSS, GIS mapping

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong ability in data analysis, report writing, and field monitoring.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data management tools.

  • Experience with digital data collection tools (Kobo, ODK, CommCare, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently and work under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to safeguarding, accountability, and ethical data handling.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context: National Development Programme (NDP) is implementing the Resilience Innovation Programme (RIP), funded by the World Food Programme (WFP), aimed at strengthening community resilience and ensuring effective support for shock-affected populations. NDP is inviting applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the position of MEAL Officer under this project.

Responsibilities/Tasks: 

  • Develop and implement the project’s M&E framework, tools, and indicators.

  • Collect, validate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from Upazila teams.

  • Maintain project databases—beneficiary lists, activity trackers, and monitoring dashboards.

  • Support baseline, midline, endline surveys, and special assessments.

  • Train field teams on data collection tools: KoBo, ODK, Excel, etc.

  • Conduct routine monitoring visits and ensure quality assurance.

  • Prepare monthly M&E reports, data visualizations, and learning briefs.

  • Check the accuracy and completeness of all field reports before submission.

  • Document success stories, case studies, and lessons learned.

  • Ensure data confidentiality, safeguarding, and ethical standards.

  • Work closely with Program Coordinator to integrate findings into planning.

  • Support donor reporting through evidence-based data.

  • Maintain backup and secure storage of all project data.
