Education:
    • Masters
  • Master’s degree in relevant area (e.g. Statistics, Social Science, Economics) from a recognized university of country or abroad.

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience with the MEAL system in health-focused development projects.

  • Ability to translate M&E concepts into practical methods and tools for teams in the field. Strong analytical skills and understanding of all aspects of quality programming.

  • Demonstrates experience of developing and managing different project cycle M&E steps and processes (M&E plans, logical frameworks, base, and end-line surveys, mid-term and final evaluations, etc).

  • Applicant should have good computer knowledge, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, and excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential.

  • A valid motorcycle driving license is required.

Responsibilities & Context:

LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.

There is a vacancy for the following contractual positions under the Community Health and Development Program (CHDP) for Supportive Adolescent and Youth (SAY) SRHR Health Systems Project.

Job Summary: The purpose of the Technical Coordinator Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (TC-MEAL) position is to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of the Project by fostering a culture of learning, evidence-based decision-making, and adaptive management. Technical Coordinator-MEAL will be responsible to provide technical field support to the Project team for delivering quality services. S/he will work closely with the entire program team to assess field conditions, track the progress, ensure process monitoring, oversee implementation of data quality assessment (DQA), and support capacity building initiatives. S/he will support designing and implementation of M&E related strategies, guidelines and tools for the program/project and other formative study in line with the Project outcome indicator and meet-up ad-hoc requirements as well.  S/he will collaborate with the program teams in reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly and final narrative aligning with financial reports (check the relevant facts).

Collaboration and Coordination 

  • Foster meaningful collaboration with community members, ensuring their involvement in project planning, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Represent the organization in external forums, working groups, and networks related to MEAL, fostering partnerships and knowledge exchange.

  • Coordinate with implementing co-partners to standardize MEAL tools, methodologies, and reporting templates to ensure consistent and comparable data collection and reporting.

  • Work closely with donors to ensure alignment with their MEAL requirements, reporting schedules, and accountability frameworks.

  • Coordinate the sharing of data, reports, and learning products with stakeholders at various levels (e.g., community, partners, and government).

  • Organize workshops, learning events, and presentations to disseminate project findings and lessons learned.

  • Foster an adaptive management approach by ensuring that MEAL findings are incorporated into project strategies and implementation plans.

  • Serve as a bridge between program teams and senior management to ensure learning is used to inform decision-making and strategy development.

 Monitoring and Data Management

  • Develop and implement project-specific monitoring, evaluation, and accountability plans (MEAL Plans).

  • Ensure timely data collection, entry, and verification, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data, analyze, interpret and present as appropriate.

  • Design and manage data management systems, ensuring they align with donor and organizational requirements.

  • Monitor project activities regularly to ensure adherence to targets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

Evaluation and Learning 

  • Develop ToR and involve in baseline, KAP survey, midterm and phase evaluation.

  • Facilitate learning activities, such as after-action reviews, lessons-learned workshops, and pause-and-reflect sessions.

  • Analyze evaluation findings and make actionable recommendations to improve project performance.

  • Document lessons learned and best practices for knowledge sharing across teams and stakeholders.

 Accountability 

  • Develop and implement accountability mechanisms, such as feedback and complaints handling systems.

  • Ensure project teams are responsive to community feedback and make necessary adaptations.

  • Promote beneficiary participation in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of projects. 

 Reporting

  • Prepare high-quality, timely, and accurate reports for donors, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of MEAL processes and project performance indicators.

  • Support the preparation of success stories and impact narratives to demonstrate program achievements.

 Capacity building 

  • Train project staff in MEAL concepts, tools, and practices.

  • Support teams in integrating MEAL into project planning, implementation, and decision-making.

 Beyond this, Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health

  • Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts

  • Comply with LAMB policies and practices and donor compliance with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and organizational values.

  • Other responsibilities assigned by the line manager or organizational management.

  • Any other duties assigned by respective Supervisor.



Job Other Benifits:
    Around Tk. 49,765 per month gross. Other benefits include provident fund, festival allowance once per year, and critical illness and death benefit.
