This position will be the effective implementer of the project plan and the supervisor of field-based project officer/technical officers. This position will be the liaison with the donors, govt. agency and other stakeholders.
Manage the emergency Education Program in the Rohingya camps in Bhasan Char overseeing its implementation, evaluation, and expansion strategies.
Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
Supervise and guide the team responsible for the ECE, Primary, Secondary, Adolescent, EdTech, Teaching Learning, Gender & Disability inclusion, Skill Development programme.
Ensure the professional development and capacity building of staff through training programs, workshops, and performance evaluations.
Maintain the overall quality of the education programs by implementing best practices, monitoring progress, and addressing challenges promptly.
Monitored program implementation, introduced risk-informed planning, and produced timely reports to donors and stakeholders.
Supervised staff development and facilitated training on safeguarding, disaster preparedness, and early warning awareness.
Conducted community-based needs assessments and collaborated with government Disaster Management Committees to strengthen local preparedness and resilience capacity.
Manage the financial aspects of Education Project/s, including budget planning, allocation, expenditure tracking, and reporting. Monitor budgetary allocations and expenditure, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines.
Promoted child-focused community engagement models ensuring inclusivity and resilience in education and protection programs.
Effective communication and collaboration with government agencies, regional and local authorities, as well as other NGOs to align program objectives and secure necessary support and approvals.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to donors and stakeholders, highlighting program achievements and challenges.
Collaborate closely with partners, government agencies, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate program activities and maximize impact.
Utilize effective project management techniques to navigate complex and challenging environments.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
