• Age At least 24 years

• At least 2-3 years working experience and knowledge in MEAL. Experience in humanitarian response programs with non-profits will be an advantage preferably in Child Protection Related projects.

• Proven working experience in Data visualization of community-based projects.

• Sound understating on Data collection, Analysis and meaningful interpretation.

• Basic knowledge and experience in Kobo Collect, SPSS, Excel and POWER BI.

• Proven campaign management skills for climate action and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

• Sound understating on the national and international climate change adaptation policy, Child Protection, SDGs, etc.

• Strong project management, partnership management and budget management skills.

• Basic knowledge and experience in Child Protection, DRR and Climate change related program implementation.

• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken).

The Opportunity

The Officer- MEAL, Child Protection is primarily responsible to provide comprehensive support to Coordinator – MEAL Child Protection Sector at Coxs Bazar area office in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning and knowledge management, research and reporting. This roles ensures efficient and effective MEAL system is being implemented in the project under the Child Protection sector complying with Save the Children International (SCI) standards and procedures.

The Officer- MEAL CP will be responsible for implementing the MEAL system at project level to track progress, apply Quality Benchmarks (QB), and strengthen accountability, learning, and knowledge management mechanisms. S/he will develop data collection tools, orient and supervise data collectors, and ensure data quality through Data Quality Assessments (DQA), sound project information systems, and troubleshooting of technical issues, while maintaining and regularly updating project and MEAL databases, including monthly IPTT updates. The role involves analysing monitoring data at key intervals, supporting Child Protection Sector colleagues—under the guidance of the Coordinator-MEAL—in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Cox's Bazar Area Office, and contributing to timely donor reporting. S/he will also support the development and implementation of the project MEAL plan, conduct training and workshops to build MEAL capacity among project staff, and provide ongoing technical support, working closely with MEAL, programme teams, and partners to ensure accurate data collection, quality reporting, and the use of evidence to improve programme quality.
