Responsibilities & Context:

Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the organization’s mission, projects, and fundraising efforts.The Officer will play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting the organization’s growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing and communication plans as guided by senior team members.

  • Support branding consistency across materials and digital platforms.

  • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns, events, and project exhibitions to promote the organization’s initiatives and engage target audiences.

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse metrics, and optimise strategies for maximum impact.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, evaluate brand awareness, audience feedback and assess the competitive landscape.

  • Use data-driven insights and report to management regarding marketing strategies and decision-making.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, partner organizations, and media outlets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and maximize outreach efforts.

  • Support the preparation of presentations and communication materials.

  • Optimize website content, SEO, and user experience to drive traffic and engagement.

  • Update social media pages with regular posts, photos, and announcements.

  • Develop compelling content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, blogs, and print materials.

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.

  • Organize and manage events, including fundraising awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs.

  • Coordinate logistics, promotions, and post-event follow-ups to ensure success.

  • Work closely with other departments to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities and initiatives.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management to support the organization’s marketing and business development goals.
