Responsibilities & Context:

Reports To: Associate Director, Business Development, Access to Finance & Partnerships
Duration: 6 months
About the Role: Heifer International Bangladesh is seeking a motivated intern to support the Business Development, Access to Finance & Partnerships function. The intern will assist in building linkages between smallholder agricultural cooperatives and financial institutions, supporting partnership development, research, and communications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent BBA/MBA graduate to gain hands-on exposure to development finance, partnership management, and the agricultural value chain sector.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support research and preparation of partnership materials, concept notes, and presentations for financial institutions and other stakeholders;

  • Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and follow-up communications with partner organizations and banks;

  • Help coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track action items across ongoing partnership discussions;

  • Support data organization and basic analysis related to cooperative performance and financial inclusion initiatives;

  • Assist with logistical and documentation support for events, roundtables, and field-related activities as needed.

  • Perform any other assignment given by the supervisor.
