The Programme Organiser will support the implementation and monitoring of Play Labs, play-based teaching approaches, Community Adolescent Clubs, and Future Ready Clubs in host communities of Cox’s Bazar. He/She will mobilize and support play leaders, adolescent leaders, teachers, para counsellors, children, caregivers, and community stakeholders, while monitoring daily activities and promoting safe, inclusive, and child-centred learning. The position will also conduct regular supportive supervisory visits to ensure quality implementation and achievement of project objectives.
Regular Coordination with Govt. Primary schools, Madrashahs, government agencies, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
Conduct basic needs assessments including survey households, learners, facilitators and site assessments of Play Labs, Madrashahs, community and future ready club.
Engage community leaders, parents, caregivers and other stakeholders to build awareness regarding play-based learning approaches and adolescent activities.
Ensure all the aspects to open Play Labs/ Clubs / Future Ready Clubs and organise activities in Madrashas including learner enrollment.
Supportive supervision to facilitators (Play leader/ adolescent leaders) through regular supervisory visit to play labs, adolescent clubs and madrashahs.
Assist Play Leaders, Father & Mother Volunteers in organizing sessions through play-based activities.
Ensure play and teaching learning materials, maintaining stock position and supervise proper usage in class room.
Identify and refer at risk children or protection cases to the appropriate services to Para counsellors, Psychologist or focal points.
Conduct facilitators orientation, monthly refreshers training and coordinate to arrange different types of trainings for adolescent clubs, Madrashas and GPS teachers.
Monitor children’s/adolescent attendance, active participation and wellbeing on a daily basis.
Uphold child safeguarding, protection policies and inclusion in all activities
Safeguarding and Others
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
