In continuation to that, BRAC has taken Humanitarian Crisis Management Project in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar district to support the displaced people arriving from the Rakhine state of Myanmar.
Strategic planning and overall Management:
• Act as the lead in information management, communication and coordinate with national and international donors' partners and within the Brac managed camps to ensure consistency and standardization of approaches, products, and tools.
• Support Senior Officers-CCCM and EPR and build their capacity in all aspects of their work using various on the job and off the job training techniques and approaches.
• Take overall responsibility in developing an information management system including identifying existing gaps, ways and tools of information gathering, data entry, storage and data analysis techniques.
• Produce high quality research tools and train Senior Officers and enumerators or project assistants during data collection including surveys, needs assessments, service mapping and any other necessary research processes.
• Ensure all site management information across camps is accessible in various formats and centralized for ease of access and for dissemination to various stake holders
• Support Camp Staff in the production of high quality daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports both for BRAC's internal reporting using BRAC's reporting processes and formats and for external reporting using formats provided by UNHCR.
• Participate in coordination meetings and any other meetings, take notes and produce high quality meeting minutes and forward to site managers for final editing and dissemination
• Take lead, support and ensure all camps have updated service mapping, site profiles and any other rapid assessments as may be required.
• Take lead in recruiting and training enumerators during data collection and other events such as service mapping and manage data collection exercises.
• On regular basis accompany site management staff during camp visits and participate in discussions with communities geared towards enriched monitoring and reporting
• Coordinate daily incident reporting on KoBo and train community mobilizers on the same.
• Ensuring projects' quality implementation and at the same time appropriate expenditure ratio or burn rate.
