  • Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity

  • Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary

  • Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of anticipatory action (AA), shock responsive social protection (SRSP) and climate risk insurance (CRI) related programme activities at district and Upazila levels in accordance with approved plans, guidelines, targets and timelines.

  • Maintain regular coordination with District Administration, DDMC, Upazila Administration, UzDMC, UDMC, PIO, Union Parishads and other relevant government stakeholders for effective programme implementation.

  • Facilitate and support AA and SRSP orientation, community awareness, life skills sessions, cyclone shelter management, simulation/mock drills and other capacity-building activities at field level.

  • Closely supervise and support Union Field Facilitators (UFFs) and other field-level staff, ensuring effective field deployment, performance, coordination and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

  • Conduct regular field monitoring and supervision of programme activities, identify implementation gaps and provide timely guidance and corrective actions to field teams.

  • Ensure quality implementation of Anticipatory Action, Shock Responsive Social Protection and Climate Risk Insurance activities, with particular attention to inclusion, gender, accountability and participation of vulnerable communities.

  • Coordinate field-level data collection, verification and quality assurance using appropriate digital platforms and tools, including ODK/Kobo and other programme monitoring systems.

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, activity and event reports, monitoring reports, success stories, case studies and other programme documentation.

  • Maintain proper documentation of programme activities, including attendance records, photographs, meeting minutes, field visit reports, monitoring findings, community feedback and supporting documents.

  • Support the Programme Focal & Project Coordinator in developing activity plans, implementation schedules, budgets, procurement requirements and other programme-related documents.

  • Monitor programme progress against approved targets and identify potential operational, financial, procurement, weather and implementation risks, maintaining and updating the project Living Risk Register where applicable.

  • Establish and maintain effective coordination with different stakeholders to ensure smooth programme implementation.

  • Support the organization of field visits, monitoring missions, Donor/government visits, review meetings, workshops and lessons-learned events and ensure necessary preparation and follow-up.

  • Ensure that programme activities comply with relevant donor’s and Shushilan policies, safeguarding requirements, accountability mechanisms, environmental and social safeguards, and government procedures.

  • Facilitate the collection and documentation of community feedback and complaints through the Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) and ensure appropriate follow-up.

  • Identify implementation challenges and good practices from the field and communicate them to the Project Coordinator for timely decision-making, learning and programme improvement.

  • Contribute to the development of field operational guidelines/SOPs, monitoring tools, training materials and other programme resources based on field experience and programme requirements.

  • Represent Shushilan professionally in coordination meetings with government authorities, Donor representatives, local stakeholders and community groups as assigned.

  • Perform any other programme-related responsibilities assigned by the Programme Focal & Project Coordinator and/or management.
