• At least 2 years of relevant project experience, preferably in agriculture, climate adaptation, community mobilization, participatory research, farmer engagement or rural development.

• Practical experience working directly with farming communities and other field-level stakeholders will be an advantage.

• Strong willingness and commitment to work directly with farmers and field-level stakeholders.

• Good oral and written communication skills in Bangla.

• Ability to use smartphones, laptops, digital tools, and agricultural applications such as AgVisely, Dr. Chashi, Khamari, or similar platforms.

• Adequate computer literacy, including MS Office and Internet applications.

• Valid motorcycle driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the project area.

• Candidates possessing their own motorcycle, laptop, and smartphone will be given preference.

• Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity

• Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary

• Able to operate virtual platform like Zoom/Team etc.

• Support implementation of PARIBARTAN field activities, including community mobilization, farmers’ needs assessment, stakeholder assessment, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), and related field exercises.

• Mobilize and maintain effective communication with farmers, Water Users Groups (WUGs), Water Management Groups (WMGs), and relevant government and non-government stakeholders at field and Upazila levels.

• Maintain regular coordination with DAE, BARI, BRRI, private-sector companies, market actors, and other relevant stakeholders as required by the project.

• Facilitate farmers in identifying, testing, and practicing climate-adaptive crop varieties and production practices, with regular monitoring during Aman, Aus, and Rabi seasons.

• Provide practical field-level support farmers, water user groups, and change agents, throughout the crop cycle, including land preparation, soil testing, selection of suitable varieties and quality seeds, fertilizer and pesticide management, irrigation, pollination, farm machinery, pest/bird/rodent management, and other Good Agricultural Practices.

• Facilitate farmers’ access to digital agricultural and market information, digital literacy, crop insurance, agricultural investment models, and relevant services.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to crop-trial farmers through iterative learning, on-the-job coaching, demonstrations, and field learning sessions.

• Conduct awareness and information dissemination on water management, cropping-system intensification, climate-adaptive agriculture, and inclusive farmer leadership, with particular attention to women farmers and youth.

• Facilitate and build the capacity of the change agents to mobilise the project activities.

• Document field observations, learning, challenges, solutions, good practices, success and failure stories, and other project learning through appropriate notes and reporting.

• Facilitate linkages between farmers and agricultural input suppliers, output markets, service providers, financial actors, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Perform other field-level responsibilities assigned by the PARIBARTAN Project team.
