Experience:
Master’s Degree, preferably in Finance/ Business Administration or relevant discipline.
At least 5 years’ experience within the finance department of a national or international organization.
Experience of donor agreement review, understanding on multi donor compliance, reporting requirements, budgeting and budget management and proven track record in producing /reviewing quality reports.
Excellent understanding of Award Management system and financial systems and procedures
Excellent analytical skills –ability to analyze complex financial data and design and produce effective management information.
Ability to contribute to a small, proactive team, motivating staff and working collaboratively with colleagues and providing support and advice as necessary.
Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies
A full appreciation of the value of co-operation, both internationally and within a team environment.
Written and verbal fluency in English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work in tight deadlines.
Hands-on experience of computerized accounts packages and Excel, PowerPoint.

The Opportunity: The Coordinator-AMDC in his/her capacity supports the Awards Manager in the areas of Awards management, and proposal development process of the Country Office. The position ensures quality services to clients in line with donor compliance and SCI Policies and Procedures in the event of Award management. S/he will contribute to total awards cycle of specific grants as assigned by the supervisor. S/he will maintain awards management system (AMS) for data input and record keeping. S/he needs to guide the budget holders and ensure compliance in all aspect of the program operation.
