Experience:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing and Communication Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the organization’s mission, projects, and fundraising efforts. This role requires expertise in digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and traditional marketing methods, as well as strong communication and relationship-building skills. The Officer will play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting the organization’s growth and impact.
Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
• Assist in developing and executing marketing and communication plans as guided by senior team members.
• Support branding consistency across materials and digital platforms.
Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns, events, and project exhibitions to promote the organization’s initiatives and engage target audiences.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, evaluate brand awareness, audience feedback and assess the competitive landscape.
Help compile data for reporting and planning.
Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, partner organizations, and media outlets.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and maximize outreach efforts.
Support preparation of presentations and communication materials.
Digital Marketing and Website Management:
Optimize website content, SEO, and user experience to drive traffic and engagement.
Update social media pages with regular posts, photos, and announcements.
Content Creation and Communication:
Develop compelling content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, blogs, and print materials.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
Event Planning and Coordination:
Organize and manage events, including fundraisers, awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs.
Coordinate logistics, promotions, and post-event follow-ups to ensure success.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities and initiatives.
Respond to requests and provide marketing support as needed.
Additional Duties:
Perform any other tasks assigned by the management to support the organization’s marketing and business development goals.
