Experience:
Leadership and Strategic Planning
• Provide visionary leadership to guide the organization toward achieving its mission and objectives.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
• Identify emerging opportunities and challenges relevant to the NGO sector.
• Ensure programs and activities align with organizational goals and community needs.
Organizational Management
• Oversee daily operations of the NGO and ensure effective program implementation.
• Manage and supervise senior staff and department heads.
• Establish policies, procedures, and systems for efficient administration.
• Promote a positive, ethical, and inclusive organizational culture.
Financial Management
• Prepare and manage the annual budget in coordination with the finance team.
• Ensure proper financial controls, accountability, and transparency.
• Oversee fundraising strategies and resource mobilization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and financial regulations.
Fundraising and Resource Development
• Lead fundraising initiatives, including donor relations, grants, and partnerships.
• Represent the organization to donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop innovative funding strategies to ensure sustainability.
Program Development and Oversight
• Ensure effective design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs.
• Measure impact and outcomes of projects and services.
• Ensure quality standards are met in all organizational programs.
Governance and Board Relations
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop policies and strategies.
• Provide regular reports to the Board on organizational performance.
• Facilitate Board meetings and support governance processes.
Public Relations and Advocacy
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the NGO.
• Build relationships with government agencies, partners, media, and communities.
• Advocate for issues aligned with the organization’s mission.
Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and donor requirements.
• Identify and manage organizational risks effectively.
