Experience:
Diploma in Midwifery from a government-approved training institute with a valid license from the Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).
Candidates should have a minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in health relevant project and must have a wide knowledge on SRHR, MNCH, Gender & other family/social issues that influence women and adolescent health.
Trained on health components, especially SRHR, MNCH, and Fistula, including monitoring, documentation and reporting.
Good computer knowledge on MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
A valid motorcycle driving license preferred.

There is a vacancy for the following contractual position under the Community Health and Development Program (CHDP) for the Strengthening Health service system of rural Health facilities by recognition (SH2) Project.
Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible to provide technical support to the health service provider at UH & FWCs and sub-centers engaged with the SRH and MNCH service, focusing project implemented by CHDP-LAMB. She will also be responsible for coordinating with the project management, which is supporting to the local health facilities to provide SRH and MNCH services for women and adolescents. Besides, she will be facilitating the management committee meeting, technical training for the healthcare providers, and coordinating with committee members. She will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Midwives and CSBAs assigned in the health facilities and report to the management. In addition, the assessment of the management committee and service quality which lead to the recognition through star awarding. The QAC will ensure quality care from all the service providers through frequent follow-up visits and on job coaching to them in accordance with the spiritual values of LAMB, while also demonstrating leadership to the midwives and CSBAs. She will be responsible for adhering to child and vulnerable adult protection policies and for reporting any allegations, concerns, suspicions, or disclosures of abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities, as outlined in the policies.
General:
Regular monitoring and assessment of the technical quality of safe delivery units at CHDP working areas (SDU, UH-FWCs)
Conducting learning needs and resource Assessment of UH-FWC/SDU, service providers and facility management committees
Ongoing learning for knowledge/skills/attitude development of service providers
Foster strong working relationships with all health care providers, project management and management committee of health facilities.
Providing supportive skill supervision to the CSBAs/Community midwives working at the safe delivery units of SDU/UH-FWCs of project working areas.
Conducting regular assessment of the overall service quality including protocol maintaining of the health facility targeted by the project.
Keeping records of feedback and to practice beneficiary feedback mechanism appropriately.
Maintain coordination with LAMB’s training Centre, MIS-R, and hospital for support and updated information.
Ensuring patient satisfaction surveys are conducted regularly and analyzed by SDU/UH-FWC’s committees
Holistic support and psychosocial counseling of women and adolescents for quality life:
Assist in organizing LAMB-based mental health, SGBV, training
Assist in organizing LAMB-based training on income generation options for fistula survivors.
Humanitarian response:
Support to the health camps during disaster period for the disaster-affected people.
Assist to conduct fistula and Cervical Cancer diagnosis camp with other project teams.
Quality control:
Supporting to maintain technical protocol for service delivery on SRHR and MNCH at SDU/FWC
Monitor and supervise delivery services, ANC & PNC by midwives and CSBA and field-level activity implementing by community health workers (CHWs) in the field.
Environment
Ensure that all materials used or distributed in the project are environment friendly.
Maintain to manage medical waste properly following the guidelines.
Networking and advocacy:
Ensure good communication between LAMB technical person and local level management
Time to time communicate with local level government staff
Ensure good communication and relationship with management committee, LGIs, respective govt. department and other NGO
Beyond this, Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health
Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
Comply with LAMB policies and practices with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and organizational values.
Other responsibilities assigned by the line manager or organizational management. Be an example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision, and values.
