Experience:
Master's degree in Disaster Management, Geography, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Development Studies, Civil Engineering, Social Science, or any relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven experience in program planning, implementation, budgeting, financial management, staff management, and report writing.
Strong knowledge of Disaster Risk Reduction frameworks and resilience programming.
Knowledge on climate change adaptation, community resilience building
Experience working with local government institutions and disaster management structures is highly desirable.

Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- Project Field Coordinator for the entitled Project- Humanitarian Response Intervention.
Employment Status: August 2026 to December 2026
Reports to: Director of Uttaran.
Key Responsibilities
Field Supervision and Activity Management
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day field-level implementation of project activities in assigned areas.
Supervise and support project officers and field staff.
Provide necessary support to the project team for effective implementation of interventions.
Identify field-level challenges, risks, and lessons learned, and propose practical solutions.
Planning and Execution
Facilitate the development and execution of the project implementation plan in collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
Identify field-level challenges, risks, and lessons learned, and propose practical solutions.
Advocacy, Coordination, and Collaboration
Follow up on advocacy, coordination, networking, and collaboration with union, Upazila, and national-level line departments.
Liaise with community leaders, local government institutions, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
Capacity Building and Support
Build staff capacity by facilitating training sessions and internalizing conceptual and methodological processes.
Assist in organizing trainings, meetings, and community events at field level.
Logistics and Compliance
Ensure timely logistical support and adherence to the organization's financial and HR policies.
Prepare and review budgets in alignment with the work plan and ensure compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation
Develop and share monthly, quarterly, and annual operational plans and reports as per donor requirements.
Monitor field progress against work plans and targets, and report regularly to the Project Coordinator.
Ensure compliance with project guidelines, donor requirements, and safeguarding principles.
Service Provider Management and Follow-up
Coordinate, supervise, and regularly follow up with local Service Providers engaged for the implementation of project training and skills development activities.
Monitor the performance of Service Providers against agreed work plans, deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and project requirements.
Maintain regular communication with Service Providers and provide necessary guidance and support to ensure smooth and timely implementation of training activities.
Review and follow up on Service Providers’ training schedules, participant attendance, trainer performance, learning progress, assessment, and completion of agreed deliverables.
Conduct regular field visits to Service Provider training centres and verify the quality and progress of training activities, facilities, equipment, learning materials, and overall training environment.
Identify implementation gaps, operational challenges, and quality issues related to Service Providers and take appropriate corrective measures in consultation with relevant management.
Ensure that Service Providers comply with approved project plans, contractual/agreed requirements, safeguarding principles, organizational policies, and donor requirements.
Coordinate with Service Providers for the timely submission and verification of required documents, reports, attendance records, assessment results, photographs, success stories, and other project documentation.
Maintain a performance monitoring mechanism for Service Providers and provide regular updates to management on their progress, challenges, and overall performance
Other Responsibilities
Perform any other duties assigned by the Program focal to ensure effective project implementation.
