Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years` professional experience in the field of gender and development, gender mainstreaming/ gender integration, women empowerment, Violence against women issues or similar field.

Job Purpose:
The Regional Manager, Gender Mainstreaming is responsible to ensure region based overall coordination, collaboration, and operational management of Gender Mainstreaming (GM) with BRAC`s selected Programmes, Enterprises & Departments (PED)s.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capacity Building and Training Facilitation
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate capacity-building initiatives for staff, community members, and key stakeholders to strengthen gender equality and social inclusion outcomes.
2. Standard Gender Messages and Touchpoint Engagement
Provide technical support to implement standard gender messages on selected touchpoints of PEDs and ensure quality implementation and achievement of programme objectives.
Strengthen community participation and promote gender-transformative practices through continuous engagement and mentoring.
3. Norm Probe Tools and Evidence Generation
Collect community signals (mindset, beliefs, and practices) on gender issues and qualitative insights to inform programme improvement, adaptive management, and learning.
Document emerging gender issues, good practices, challenges, and lessons learned from field interventions.
4. Local NGOs Coordination
Facilitate local NGOs coordination and strengthen their capacity to deal with gender equality and women`s empowerment issues.
5. Local Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement
Plan and implement local advocacy initiatives to promote gender equality, women`s empowerment, and social inclusion.
Facilitate dialogue and coordination with local government institutions, community leaders, religious leaders, civil society organisations, and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen gender-responsive policies and practices.
6. Campaigns and Special Event Management
Coordinate and facilitate community mobilisation activities and awareness campaigns during national and international observance days (e.g., International Women`s Day, 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, International Day of the Girl Child, etc.).
Ensure effective planning, documentation, and reporting of campaign activities and outcomes.
7. Research and Assessment Support
Support the design and implementation of research, assessments, surveys, and learning initiatives by facilitating quantitative and qualitative data collection, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews (KIIs), and other field research activities.
Ensure adherence to ethical research standards, safeguarding principles, and data quality protocols throughout the research process.
8. Reporting and MIS
Maintain accurate and timely programme data through regular updates to the Management Information System (MIS) and ensure data integrity.
Prepare and submit timely progress reports, field monitoring reports, training reports, advocacy documentation, and other programme reports in accordance with organisational standards.
9. Coordination and Collaboration
Collaborate closely with programme teams, Gender Focal Persons, local partners, government counterparts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of gender mainstreaming activities.
Represent the programme in relevant coordination meetings, technical forums, and stakeholder consultations at the local level.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
