Experience:
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
However, the candidates having post graduate degree will be given preference.
Professional qualification, such as Diploma in Secretarial Science will be treated as an additional qualification.
Age: Maximum 36 years (as on 31/08/2026) may be relaxed for the highly experienced candidate.

Caritas Bangladesh is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for the position of Secretary under Dinajpur Region, Caritas Bangladesh.

Job Location: Dinajpur Regional Office, Caritas Bangladesh
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for the Regional Director by receiving and screening telephone calls and responding and taking messages (in absence of the Regional Director);
Manage the Regional Director`s calendar, appointments, official visits, meetings and travel schedules, while maintaining records of past and upcoming activities;
Assist in the preparation of various correspondence/ letters, reports and documents through MS Word, MS Excel, Power Points/Presentation software, etc. as assigned by the Regional Director;
Receive/ Send, sort and register all incoming and outgoing correspondence including faxes and email;
Responsible for dispatching letters/ reports/ documents;
Responsible for filling and preservation of official correspondence and documents in a systematic way in both physical and electronic formats;
Prepare and coordinate official communications with Caritas Bangladesh Central Office, Regional Offices, field offices, government agencies, donors, RPEC members and other stakeholders as instructed by the Regional Director;
Provide secretarial support by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, documenting decisions and following up on agreed action points;
Receive visitors and set-up appointments and giving on time reminders, maintain diary of future program for the Directors and preserve records of previous programs;
Develop and maintain databases of administrative records, reports, contracts, contact information and other official documents, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date;
Maintain confidentiality on any matter for interest of the organization; and
Perform any other duties assigned by the Regional Director to support the effective functioning of the Regional Office.
Salary: BDT 30,000/- (consolidated) only per month depending on the experience and qualifications.
Bonus: as per policy of the organization.
