• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience working with NGO/INGO in a similar position in implementing youth development, social cohesion, and inclusive community.

• Clear understanding of vocational skills development, entrepreneurship support, and market linkages.

• A commitment to gender equality and addressing other diversity perspectives, and direct experience in supporting women's empowerment and rights-based approaches to poverty alleviation.

• Practical experience in conducting training and effective communication with the interfaith community.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse teams.

• Good speaking and writing skills in both Bangla and English.

• Have a valid driving license.

Job Summary: The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is a leading non-government organization dedicated to fostering a just and caring society since 1973. CCDB is currently seeking a Field Organizer for its project, “Strengthening Organized Mobilization for Peace, Resilience and Inclusive Transformation through Youth Engagement (SOMPRITY)”.

Field Organizer is responsible to Search youth for technical training to implement planned programs and relevant activities according to the guideline & cash flow budget.

 Project Introduction: The project will be jointly implemented by Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB), Jagrata Jubo Sangha (JJS), and National Council of Churches in Bangladesh (NCCB), in partnership with Kerk in Actie (KIA). This project aims to support unemployed youth—particularly women and marginalized groups—through vocational skills development, entrepreneurship support, and market linkages in two upazilas in Satkhira (Sadar & Kalaroa Upazila) and Khulna City Corporation. By improving access to dignified employment, the initiative seeks to promote economic stability, social cohesion, and inclusive community development in vulnerable areas.

 Job Responsibility:

• Selecting unemployed interfaith youth and ostad, determining the skill gap among youth, and recommending strategies for improvement.

• Providing technical support for youth and ostad for their betterment.

• Supporting and encouraging the youth and mentors to develop their self-awareness and individuality.

• Maintaining an optimistic work environment between youth interns and ostad.

• Ensuring child protection procedures are followed, and the safeguarding of youth is paramount.

• Ensuring quality education/training and security for youth.

• Providing youth with employment to consult with private sectors and choice of profession according to their ability.

• Supporting youth to promote economic and innovative enterprise.

• Maintaining and developing effective collaborative relationships with other stakeholders.

• Ensuring that programs and training are conducted effectively so that youth’s needs and organizational objectives are fulfilled.

• Confirming that the programs and trainings are consistent with the National Youth Policy Act.

• Conduct training and orientation with different faith groups regarding social cohesion, conflict resolution, and leadership.
