Experience:
M.Com pass but MBA from Accounting/Management a recognized university will be given preference.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 5 years of experience in grant-funded projects.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Applicants should have good computer knowledge, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, and excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential.
A valid motorcycle driving license is required.

There are vacancies for the following contractual positions under the Community Health and Development Program (CHDP) for Supportive Adolescent and Youth (SAY) SRHR Health Systems Project.
Job Summary: The Finance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient financial management of the project. This role includes maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with LAMB’s financial policies and the requirements of donor organizations. The Finance Coordinator supervises the books of accounts and ensures regular accounting reconciliations. Additionally, the position involves preparing timely financial summaries, reports, and assessments of financial needs and cash flow, ensuring optimal management of bank account balances and cash holdings to avoid liquidity issues. The Finance Coordinator also reviews and ensures the timely preparation of donor reports and manages budget control in line with the approved project proposal. Provides administrative support to the supervisor for smooth project operations and collaborates with program teams to prepare monthly, quarterly, and final narrative reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity. The role also includes ensuring the use of appropriate tools and processes throughout the project.
Financial Planning and Budgeting
Develop and implement financial plans and budgets by collaboration with Project Manager of SAY SRHR project.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and donor requirements in terms of financial management.
Grant Compliance
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and grant agreements.
Work closely with project teams to monitor grant expenditures and maintain accurate records for audits.
Financial Controls & Policies and Cash Flow Management
Establish and enforce financial controls and policies of organization, government & donors.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to financial procedures and identify areas for improvement.
Manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for project activities.
Monitor and forecast cash needs and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely disbursements.
Support program team to track the expense according to the approved budget.
Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the purchase of necessary resources within a timeline.
Periodically visit the vendors to inspect the quality of the products and services
Ensure inventory and asset list, verify at least yearly basis.
Regularly visit to the upazila office to examine the financial matters.
Payment Management and VAT & Tax Management
Make payment of staff salary, volunteer incentive, vendors bills & others financial outstanding in timely manner.
Ensure VAT & Tax deduction at source and deposited into treasury within timely manner.
Provide salary certificate & Tax deduction documents to staff within timely manner.
Financial Reporting and Audit Coordination
Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management, donors and relevant authorities with proper explanation of variances.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Prepare for and coordinate external audits in collaboration with audit firms getting support from finance department of head office
Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
Capacity Building
Lead and supervise the finance officer, providing guidance, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Build the financial management capacity of project staff through training and support.
Financial Risk Management
Identify and assess financial risks associated with project activities.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Beyond this, Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health
Ensure spiritual concepts and holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts.
Ensure religious values and organizational values of staff.
Comply with WRB and LAMB policies and practices with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and procedures.
Disseminate & practice organizational practices, values, policies and objectives
Any other duties assigned by respective supervisor.
Salary: Tk. 53,800 per month gross salary, inclusive all benefits. Other benefits include provident fund & festival allowance once per year.
