Experience:
Experience of working with any reputed development organization, especially on field-level activities for at least 3-5 years.
Experience working with IOM/UN will get preference.
Good Communication skills.
Sound knowledge in managing local govt. & stakeholders collaborating project nature.
Additional Requirements:
Specialized experience in Trafficking in national or international organizations
Excellent oral and written communication skills: familiarity with MS Word, Excel etc.
Knowledge of the local context in the Rohingya community.
Ability to work with a team.
Age limit will be considered for an experienced person.
Fluency in relevant languages (English, Bengali), sound knowledge in Rohingya language will get preference.
1. Implement Protection Activities
Plan and implement protection-related activities in line with project objectives, guidelines, and organizational policies.
Conduct field visits to ensure effective implementation of protection interventions.
Identify protection risks and vulnerabilities among beneficiaries and support appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure that all protection activities follow humanitarian principles and a rights-based approach.
Integrate cross-cutting issues such as gender equality, inclusion, and child protection into project activities.
2. Monitoring Awareness and Training Sessions
Design and facilitate awareness sessions for beneficiaries, community members, and stakeholders on protection issues such as human trafficking, gender-based violence (GBV), child protection, safeguarding, and community safety.
Develop and use appropriate Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials during awareness sessions.
Conduct training workshops for local stakeholders, including community leaders, volunteers, youth groups, and service providers.
Promote safe migration practices, rights awareness, and access to protection services.
3. Strengthen the Capacity of Staff, Volunteers, and Community Groups
Organize capacity-building initiatives for project staff, volunteers, and community groups on protection principles, safeguarding, and referral mechanisms.
Support the formation and strengthening of community-based protection committees or support groups.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to volunteers and community members engaged in protection activities.
Facilitate learning and experience-sharing sessions to enhance the effectiveness of protection interventions.
4. Coordination with Partners and Service Providers
Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including NGOs, government departments, community leaders, law enforcement agencies, and service providers.
Coordinate with partner organizations to ensure effective referral pathways and service delivery for vulnerable individuals.
Participate in coordination meetings, protection working groups, and relevant forums at local or district levels.
Support joint initiatives and collaborative activities with partner organizations.
5. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain proper documentation of all protection activities, training sessions, and meetings.
Prepare periodic activity reports, training reports, and field visit reports.
Collect and analyze relevant data to track project progress and outcomes.
Ensure timely submission of reports in accordance with project requirements and donor guidelines.
6. Ensure Safeguarding and Ethical Standards
Ensure that all activities comply with organizational safeguarding policies and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards.
Promote safe and inclusive environments for beneficiaries and community members.
Ensure confidentiality and respect for the dignity and rights of all participants.
7. Monitoring and Follow-up
Monitor the effectiveness of awareness sessions, training programs, and protection activities.
Collect feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders to improve program quality.
Support project monitoring and evaluation processes.
8. Other Responsibilities
Support project planning and implementation of new initiatives.
Contribute to project learning, documentation, and best practices.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Program Coordinator.
