Experience and Other Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience providing psychological services, with strong practical experience in GBV case management and survivor support.

  • A dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed care, GBV prevention and response standards, and national guidelines.
  • Ability to work empathetically and professionally with GBV survivors, upholding strict confidentiality and safety principles.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate services effectively across multiple facilities and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage sensitive cases with discretion.
  • Fluency in Bangla; basic English proficiency required; knowledge of local dialects is an advantage.
  • Good analytical, documentation, and report writing skills.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Circular No.: 20260730-011

Research, Training and Management (RTM) International NGO working in Cox’s Bazar to implement different projects supported by the Government of Bangladesh, UNFPA, UNICEF and other development partners. To provide essential health services to the affected population across different locations, RTM requires filling the vacancies for the mentioned positions.

Report to: Head of Operations-Field.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct mental health assessments and provide individual and group psychosocial support.
  • Develop and implement MHPSS activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care with relevant mental health service providers.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of MHPSS interventions.
  • Identify, prevent, and respond to GBV-related concerns in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct GBV risk assessments and facilitate survivor-centered referrals and follow-up.
  • Organize awareness sessions on GBV prevention, available services, and support mechanisms.
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of GBV interventions.
  • Coordinate with government counterparts, humanitarian agencies, sector working groups, NGOs, and community leaders.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and technical working groups.
  • Support the implementation of culturally appropriate MHPSS and GBV strategies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of program activities.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the authority to support the efficient functioning of the healthcare facility.
