Education:

• Bachelor/Honors

• Minimum Bachelor degree pass.

• ICDP training preferred.

• Teaching skills (able to care for and communicate with children and to think about the different ways they learn), strong interpersonal skills, willingness to work with children with special needs, and accept input while learning new skills.

• Ability to keep students focused and motivated through creative teaching methods.

• Fluency in spoken, written, and reading English is required. Ability to type in English is preferred. 

*Please express your preferred subject interest clearly and list previous teaching experience. (We require staff to teach English or Math’s to children aged 4 years to 9 years.)

There is a vacancy for the following positions based at LAMB English Medium School in Parbatipur. The school serves about 165 pupils, including many staff children. 

Job Summary:Through quality teaching to work toward the goal of learning that supports each child in reaching his or her full potential, physically, mentally, spiritually, and academically. To carry out creative teaching for students and live an active Christian lifestyle. To communicate regularly in English.

Person Profile: Good teaching and interpersonal skills. Fairly fluent spoken and written English. Ability to work under pressure and learn from your own mistakes.

Objective of the position:

Key responsibilities: Teaching 25 to 27 lessons a week and complete tasks assigned. To work toward the goal of learning that supports each child in reaching his or her full potential, physically, mentally, spiritually and academically. Communicate regularly in English.

 Job Duties:

Teaching:

1. Follow  lesson plans

2. Prepare materials for classes

3. Set targets for the class

4. Use a variety of teaching activities that encourages manipulating objects and answering questions

5. Communicate with students’ parents or guardians

6. Record information about students regularly

7. Provide information for student reports and meetings

8. Record attendance and absence of students

9. Supervise students during break times as scheduled

10. Maintain and upgrade personal teaching skills

11. Maintain continuous learning attitude (academic and behavioural)

 Individual tasks may include:

1. As class teacher to work on internal relationships and behaviours in a class

2. Organising classrooms

3. Organising subject materials for PE, Library, Arts and Sciences.

4. Planning for and teaching children with special educational needs (SEN)

5. Organising special events and functions

 General:

1. Lives in accordance with the LAMB values.

2. Maintains confidentiality.

3. Assists the school as requested.

Salary: Around Tk. 14,800/- per months gross. Other benefits include provident fund, medical benefit, festival allowance once per year, and critical illness and death benefit.
