∎ Master of Social Science /Master in Gender and Development Studies /Master in Environment Science and Disaster Management/or related subjects.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ 5 years working experience on WASH-related program.
∎ 3 years working experience on Advocacy and Network
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s)
∎ Knowledge of WASH and public health and experience in practically applying this knowledge
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English/Bangla
∎ Experience in working with government departments
∎ Experience in delivering training and orientation for different stakeholders
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have sound knowledge on online platform Zoom and Microsoft teams, KOBO with WhatsApp, etc.
∎ Ability to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Upazila Advocacy and Network Officer Needs to work closely with the Project Manager and team members to plan.
∎ Must have mindset to support project team coordination, planning, monitoring of project implementation.
∎ Upazila Advocacy and Network Officer have to maintain effective cooperation and coordination with relevant departments at District, Upazila and Union level of GOB, LGI etc.
∎ Must have relationship development and advocacy strategy experience with public and private organizations.
∎ Must have experience in conducting training and providing technical support related to mobile data and overall support to M&E team.
∎ Must have skills in planning, implementation and budgeting.
∎ Must have experience in conducting various meetings, seminars and workshops, campaigns and advocacy and training sessions on climate change and WASH.
∎ Must have experience in collecting case studies, reporting and ensuring media coverage (photos and videos).
∎ Upazila Advocacy and Network Officer should be willing to travel frequently to remote areas and coastal areas to conduct extended project activities.
∎ Must have experience communicating with project teams.
∎ Contract period: 01.06.2024 to 30.12.2024 - High Possibility of extension
∎ Proposed start date: 1st of June 2024
∎ Location: Paikgachha, Koyra and Morrelganj Uapzila
