  • Retired officer from Bangladesh Armed Forces (major/captain/Lieutenant or equivalent)

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.

  • Knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations: Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations.       

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.       

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the garment industry and/or other relevant industries.    

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Bangla.  



Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead the HR and Administrative functions of our corporate office. DGM/AGM – HR, Admin, Logistics & Security Affairs will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring operational efficiency, and cultivating a high-performance culture across our Garments, Textile, and Spinning divisions.

 

  • Supervise general administrative activities such as office management, facilities, security, and logistics.

  • Optimize resource allocation and cost control in administrative operations.

  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all HR and administrative documentation and reports.

  • Lead performance management systems and employee development programs.

  • Represent the company in HR & Admin matters at industry forums, regulatory bodies, and external meetings.

  • Liaise with government authorities, legal consultants, vendors, and external stakeholders as necessary.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and adopt best practices in HR and administration.

  • Develop and implement HR and administrative strategies, policies, and systems aligned with the organization`s goals.

  • Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, timekeeping, and leave management systems.

  • Implement employee engagement programs and welfare initiatives to enhance morale and job satisfaction.

  • Provide strategic direction to the HR & Admin team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives.

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding.

  • Design and implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies.

  • Address employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to recommend improvements.

  • Maintain regular communication with employees and management to address concerns and identify areas for enhancement.

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable employment laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.

  • Any other task assigns by management.
