Job Context:
The Head of Training is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading a comprehensive training and capability development strategy for employees across the organization, including workers, supervisors, middle management, and senior leadership. The role ensures that the workforce is equipped with technical skills, compliance awareness, leadership capability, and ethical workplace practices aligned with national labor law, international compliance standards, buyer requirements, and organizational productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an annual training strategy and calendar aligned with organizational goals, production requirements, and compliance standards.
Conduct regular Training Needs Assessments (TNA) across departments to identify skill gaps among workers, supervisors, and management.
Design and deliver training programs related to ethical business practices, code of conduct, workplace integrity, and buyer compliance requirements.
Provide training on national labor laws, worker rights, workplace policies, grievance mechanisms, and fair labor practices to ensure compliance and awareness.
Support HR initiatives by conducting training on communication, conflict resolution, teamwork, and positive worker-management relationships.
Coordinate training on occupational health and safety, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and safe work practices to promote a safe working environment.
Develop training programs focused on efficiency improvement, quality awareness, lean practices, and work discipline to enhance factory productivity.
•Implement technical skill development programs for sewing operators, helpers, and production staff, including multi-skilling and competency enhancement.
Design and facilitate training for line supervisors and middle management covering leadership, people management, decision-making, and performance management.
Promote training on gender sensitivity, prevention of harassment, inclusion, and respectful workplace behavior, ensuring a fair and supportive work environment.
