Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Rules, applicable statutory requirements, and company policies.
Monitor compliance with buyer Code of Conduct (COC), social, ethical, environmental, and workplace safety requirements.
Conduct regular internal compliance inspections and audits across factory, production, warehouse, chemical store, ETP and worker facilities.
Coordinate and support buyer, third-party, LWG, ISO and other compliance audits, including audit preparation and follow-up.
Identify compliance gaps/non-conformities and prepare, implement and monitor Corrective Action Plans (CAP) until closure.
Maintain and update compliance records, statutory registers, policies, procedures, audit reports and supporting documents.
Monitor chemical management, RSL/MRSL requirements, ETP/environmental compliance, waste management, PPE and occupational health & safety practices.
Coordinate with HR, Production, ETP, Safety, Maintenance, Chemical and other departments to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.
Prepare monthly compliance reports, audit status, CAP progress and management updates.
