• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science, Chemical Technical/Engineering

• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.

• Good understanding of environmental rules and regulations of Bangladesh.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure compliance with environmental standards.

• Monitor influent and effluent water quality parameters (BOD, COD, TSS, pH, Chromium, Sulphide, etc.) and maintain records.

• Ensure proper dosing of chemicals and optimize treatment processes for cost efficiency.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and biological issues in the treatment process; liaise with maintenance teams for repairs.

• Prepare and maintain operational logs, MIS reports, and monthly effluent quality reports for management and regulatory submission.

• Coordinate with the Department of Environment (DoE) and other regulatory bodies for compliance, inspections, and reporting.

• Train and supervise ETP operators and support staff.

• Manage sludge handling, disposal, and CETP coordination where applicable.
