Liberty Chemicals Industries Ltd. is looking for a technically competent and result-oriented Process Engineer to join our chemical manufacturing plant.
The successful candidate will work under the Plant / Process Manager and will be responsible for supporting safe, stable and efficient production operations of our LABSA & SLES Manufacturing Unit.

Plant / Process Manager
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control LABSA and SLES manufacturing processes.
Ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operation.
Monitor critical process parameters and maintain approved operating conditions.
Support LABSA sulfonation, sulfur/SO₃-related process systems and SLES production/neutralization processes.
Identify process deviations and troubleshoot production problems.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Utility and QC teams for smooth plant operation.
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Monitor production yield, raw-material consumption and process losses.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and production-cost reduction.
Investigate product-quality deviations in coordination with QC.
Maintain production, process, downtime and consumption records.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, HSE requirements, chemical-handling procedures and environmental requirements.
Support commissioning, modification and improvement of plant equipment and processes.
B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering from a recognized university.
Candidates with relevant industrial experience in chemical manufacturing will be preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in chemical/process manufacturing is preferred.
Experience in LABSA, SLES, surfactant, detergent chemical, sulfonation, neutralization or similar chemical-processing plants will receive preference.
Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and relevant industrial training may also be considered for junior-level appointment.
Candidates should have practical knowledge of:
Chemical process operation
Process control and troubleshooting
Pumps, tanks, heat exchangers and reactors
Instrumentation and process monitoring
Preventive maintenance coordination
Production planning and reporting
Chemical safety and HSE
Basic process calculations and material balance
MS Excel and production reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication and teamwork
Strong sense of responsibility
Willingness to work in shifts when required
Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing environment
Proactive approach to identifying process and equipment problems
