Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities and workforce.

• Ensure smooth and efficient execution of assigned operations.

• Allocate duties to workers and monitor their performance.

• Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality according to company standards.

• Coordinate with management and other departments to resolve operational issues.

• Ensure proper use and availability of tools, equipment, and materials.

• Maintain daily work records, reports, and operational documentation.

• Identify operational problems and take appropriate corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

• Train, guide, and motivate workers to achieve operational targets.

Specifications:

• Oversee shift production activities across the melt shop or rolling mill to meet output targets.

• Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations on the shop floor.

• Allocate tasks to operators and technicians, managing shift schedules and attendance.

• Diagnose operational bottlenecks quickly and coordinate with maintenance for fast resolutions.

• Conduct regular shift tool-box meetings focused on safety and production quality.

Relevant Skills Required:

Large-scale team management, deep knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, conflict resolution, and emergency crisis management.
