It is a sister concern of prominent companies such as Nannu Spinning Mills Limited (Yarn Production: 92 ton/day), Nannu Textiles Mills Limited (Fabric Production: 153 million meter/year), Bexi Fabrics, etc. We are searching for ambitious, talented, and seasoned individuals to establish this project to be one of the best in the country.
Job Responsibilities of production Manager
Formulate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on client orders and material availability.
Optimize machinery layouts and allocate workloads across the spinning line—from the blowroom and carding to drawing, roving, ring frames, and winding.
Coordinate closely with the team to ensure production targets are achieved within stipulated lead times to satisfy customer deliveries.
Ensure the manufactured yarn meets the exact dimensional stability, strength, and specifications required by buyers.
Coordinate with the quality assurance team to implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that prevent defects during the spinning process rather than just detecting them later.
Manage and evaluate pre-production samples against buyer swatch cards before launching bulk production.
Work with the mechanical and engineering departments to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and minimize unplanned machine downtime.
Oversee routine and predictive maintenance schedules for specialized spinning machinery (e.g., carding frames, auto-coners, ring frames).
Rapidly investigate and resolve complex technical or process problems on the shop floor.
Monitor raw material utilization strictly, aiming to reduce waste and maximize yarn realization (the ratio of yarn produced to raw cotton used).
Control operational and maintenance costs, finding ways to streamline production without compromising quality.
Setting and enforcing strict quality benchmarks to eliminate defects and ensure the final product meets exact specifications.
Allocate workers, shift supervisors, and technical staff efficiently across various mill departments.
Conduct continuous skill development programs for operators and doffers while keeping floor morale high.
Enforce occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean, hazardous-free environment and functional safety devices on machinery.
Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing production yields, shift efficiencies, and KPI tracking.
Act as a bridge between senior management, procurement (for raw cotton/fiber inventory), and external clients during factory inspections.
Organizing onboarding, trade-specific training, and performance reviews to maintain a skilled workforce.
Deciding how to distribute workers, machinery, and equipment across different shifts or assembly lines.
Monitoring the production floor to quickly identify and fix delays caused by machine breakdowns or material shortages.
Collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule routine servicing and prevent sudden equipment failures.
Directing the production staff, production assistants, and shift supervisors.
Monitoring and tracking ongoing operational costs to keep the production department within its allocated budget constraints.
Partnering with purchasing teams to ensure a consistent, cost-effective supply of raw materials.
