Candidate Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in factory/production operations, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

• Strong experience in shift management, manpower handling, production monitoring, and machine operations.

• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Able to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.

• Must be disciplined, responsible, and capable of handling pressure independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and control overall factory operations during the assigned shift.

2. Ensure smooth and uninterrupted production activities according to the daily production plan.

3. Allocate manpower and assign duties to operators, helpers, technicians, and other shift employees.

4. Monitor production quantity, quality, machine performance, wastage, and downtime.

5. Ensure that production targets are achieved within the scheduled time.

6. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality Control, Store, Electrical, Security, and HR/Admin departments.

7. Immediately report any machine breakdown, production stoppage, safety issue, quality problem, or manpower shortage to management.

8. Ensure proper use and availability of raw materials, packaging materials, tools, and other production inputs.

9. Maintain proper shift-wise production records, attendance, machine downtime, wastage, and other operational reports.

10. Ensure employees follow all company rules, SOPs, safety procedures, and work instructions.

11. Monitor worker discipline, attendance, punctuality, and workplace behavior during the shift.

12. Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and 5S practices throughout the factory area.

13. Monitor compliance with fire safety, PPE, occupational health and safety requirements.

14. Check the factory and machinery at the beginning and end of each shift and ensure proper handover/takeover between shifts.

15. Take immediate action during emergency situations, including fire, accident, power failure, machine breakdown, or other operational disruptions.

16. Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.

17. Monitor product quality and ensure that defective or non-conforming products are properly identified and reported.

18. Identify operational problems and provide practical solutions to reduce downtime, wastage, and production losses.

19. Prepare and submit a daily/shift-wise operational report to the Factory Manager/Production Manager.

20. Perform any other duties assigned by Factory Management.
