Experience:

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Feed Technology, Animal Science or a relevant discipline.

• Candidates with relevant technical/production experience in the feed, food, agro or FMCG industry will be preferred.

• Practical knowledge of feed production processes and manufacturing operations.

• Good understanding of production planning and process control.

• Ability to monitor production machinery and identify basic operational problems.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and in a shift-based environment.

• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline and attention to detail.

Quality Feeds Limited is looking for a motivated and responsible Jr. Officer / Officer – Production to support day-to-day feed production operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring production processes, manpower, machinery, production targets, product quality and production records while ensuring safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily feed production operations according to the approved production plan.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within the scheduled time while maintaining product quality.

• Monitor production processes including raw material handling, batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting, cooling, screening, packing and related operations.

• Ensure proper use and handling of raw materials and minimize production losses and wastage.

• Monitor production machinery and immediately report technical abnormalities to the concerned maintenance team.

• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Store and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.

• Monitor manpower deployment and ensure proper utilization of workers during production shifts.

• Maintain production records, reports, batch records and other required documentation accurately.

• Ensure compliance with approved SOPs, GMP, safety procedures, and company policies.

• Monitor housekeeping and workplace safety within the production area.

• Assist in investigating production problems, process deviations, wastage and quality issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.

• Ensure proper cleaning and changeover procedures between production batches.

• Monitor production efficiency, downtime, material consumption and process losses.

• Prepare daily and periodic production reports for management.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the management or Production Manager.
