• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production
• Diploma
• Bachelor/Honors

• Diploma, Graduate/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.

• Additional technical training in Injection Molding/Plastic Processing will be an advantage.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Plastic/ Polymer Industry

• Age At least 30 years

• 8–9 years of relevant experience in plastic manufacturing/injection molding production.

• Candidates with strong experience in Injection Molding Machine operation, production planning, machine parameter setting, mold changeover, troubleshooting, and team management will be preferred.

• Experience in garment accessories, plastic hangers, packaging, or similar manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Injection Molding Machines and plastic processing.

• Good understanding of different types of plastic raw materials and their applications.

• Knowledge of mold setting, machine parameter optimization, and production troubleshooting.

• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge of production planning, efficiency improvement, and cost control.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Job Location: DEPZ, Savar, Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day production activities in the Injection Molding Department.

• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the approved production plan and schedule.

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines and ensure optimum machine utilization.

• Monitor production quality, productivity, rejection, scrap, and material consumption.

• Ensure proper machine parameter setting, mold changeover, and troubleshooting in coordination with the Technical/Maintenance team.

• Supervise production operators and workers and ensure proper manpower utilization.

• Monitor OEE, cycle time, downtime, rejection rate, and production efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with approved quality standards, work instructions, SOPs, and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Technical Departments to ensure smooth production.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure proper handling and utilization of raw materials, finished goods, and production consumables.

• Maintain production records, reports, and relevant documentation.

• Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, 5S, and compliance requirements within the production area.

• Train and develop operators and production team members to improve productivity and quality.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.

• Take necessary initiatives to reduce production costs, waste, downtime, and rejection.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
