Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.

PGD/Professional certification in HR will be an advantage.

  • Age At least 28 years
  • Strong experience in HR operations, employee relations, grievance handling, recruitment, training and development, and labor law.

  • Experience working in an export-oriented manufacturing organization will be preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law and Rules.

  • Practical experience in grievance handling and employee relations.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment, performance management, training and development, and HR operations.

  • Good knowledge of social compliance requirements and buyer expectations.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.

  • Good command of written and spoken English.

  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office and HRIS/ERP systems.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively with employees and management at different levels.



Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Manage day-to-day HR operations of the washing plant in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.

  2. Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems across the plant.

  3. Handle employee relations and address employee grievances in a timely, fair, and professional manner.

  4. Maintain a positive and productive working environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.

  5. Manage recruitment and selection activities, including manpower requisition, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

  6. Monitor manpower requirements and ensure timely recruitment and deployment according to operational needs.

  7. Manage employee attendance, leave, turnover, disciplinary matters, and other HR-related records.

  8. Coordinate performance management and appraisal processes and support managers in effective employee performance evaluation.

  9. Identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate training programs for employees at different levels.

  10. Support employee engagement, welfare, motivation, and retention initiatives.

  11. Ensure proper implementation of disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policy and applicable labor laws.

  12. Maintain effective communication with workers and employees and support management in resolving workplace issues.

  13. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with labor law, buyer requirements, and applicable social compliance standards.

  14. Support internal and external audits related to HR, social compliance, and employee-related matters.

  15. Prepare and analyze HR reports covering manpower, absenteeism, turnover, recruitment, disciplinary cases, training, and other key HR indicators.

  16. Monitor HR-related documentation and ensure employee records are accurate, updated, and properly maintained.

  17. Work closely with Production and other functional departments to understand manpower and employee-related requirements.

  18. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

  19. Ensure effective communication of company policies, procedures, notices, and employee-related information.

  20. Handle employee welfare-related matters and coordinate with relevant teams to address workplace concerns.

  21. Assist senior management in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
